Pioneer A03-05 Important Information!!
Linked below is a
PDF document explaining the procedure for upgrading the
Pioneer A03 and A04 drives in the Microboards DSR DVD
towers. It also has a link to the
Microboards Tech Support email form, so the customers can
request their
firmware CD.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!!!!
This upgrade
will allow you to do the following:
*burn 1X DVD media at 1X
*burn 2X DVD media at 2X
*****burn 4X DVD
media at only 1X******
Please
remember, if you try to burn 4X DVD media in your AO3 or
AO4 tower without installing this update it may cause
PERMANENT DAMAGE to your equipment.
There will be
a future firmware upgrade that will enable you to burn 4X
media at 2X. We anticipate this to be about a month away.
Because 4X DVD media is still more expensive than 2X DVD
media, most people will continue to only use 2X DVD media
in their AO3 & AO4 towers and may choose to wait until
the final firmware upgrade is available.

UPDATE PDF FOR THE DSR DVD SERIES
The new 4x DVD-R media that is used by this new drive
is NOT compatible with the older 2X A04
drive. If you use the new
4X discs in an older drive it will permanently damage the
A04! Please
check the Pioneer Electronics website for more information
and the firmware update! |

Signature Pro Printers have been known to be
temperamental about accepting ink cartridges.
Download and unzip the file below and follow the
directions to do a firmware update on your Signature Pro
that should help!
