Image Ready Source Input Guidelines for DVD (4.7 GB/9.4GB)

One tape with the following (image ready source) information is needed to master and replicate single layer single sided DVD discs (up to 4.7 GB per disc). Two tapes are needed to master and replicate single layer double sided DVD discs (up to 9.4 GB total, up to 4.7 GB per tape per side)

Image Ready Source:

CD Solutions accepts image ready DVD sources on DLT (Digital Linear Tape), CompacTape III or III XT cartridges. Tape cartridge capacities up to 15 GB (uncompressed) are accepted. Tapes should be ANSI labeled (ANSI X.3.27-1978) and blocked in as large of blocks as possible. The DVD image should be formatted to the UDF (Universal Disk Format) Bridge standard.

The DLT tape should include the following information in the following order:

-Beginning of Tape
-DDPID (file 1)
-DDPMS (file 2)
-DVD lead in control data (file 3)
-DVD Program Data (file 4)
-End of tape

The first three files above should be at the beginning of the DLT tape or they can be included on a separate floppy. The above files are required for DVD orders.
